Sarah Hansen serves as the Project Associate of the Midwest Child Welfare Implementation Center. She has the primary responsibility of coordinating all MCWIC outreach activities and providing administrative support to the Project Directors and staff. She has worked at the Center on Children, Families and the Law (CCFL) since 2007. She has experience in fiscal management, HR functions, accounts payable and program development.

Sarah earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in Spanish and Latin American Studies. Her commitment to working with children began as a summer camp counselor and full-time program director at Nebraska and Iowa YMCA camps. She is a member of the University of Nebraska Office Professional Association (UNOPA) and the Ways and Means Chair for the Rho Chapter Alpha Xi Delta Alumnae Association.

Sarah is married (Kyle) with two young children (Will and Molly), two cats (Leo and Zee) and a lovable lab (Lilly). They enjoy all outdoor activities including camping, fishing, rock climbing and horseback riding. Sarah also likes to curl up with a good book and listen to silence.
